Homemade Tiramisu with Brazil Amendoa Doce Espresso

Use Fresh Espresso

Use fresh espresso for the best flavor. Let it cool completely so it doesn’t make the ladyfingers soggy.

Brew the espresso using Brazil Amendoa Doce beans. Let it cool.

In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.

In a large bowl or stand mixer, whip the heavy cream on medium speed. As it begins to thicken, slowly add the sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until soft peaks form.

Add the room-temperature mascarpone into the whipped cream mixture. Gently fold the mascarpone in until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.

Quickly dip each lady finger into the espresso (just a second or two—don’t let them soak too long), then layer them into your serving dish.

Spread half of the cream mixture over the soaked lady fingers. Repeat the process with another layer of dipped lady fingers, then top with the remaining cream.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best).

Just before serving, dust generously with cocoa powder.

1 ½ cups cold espresso brewed with Brazil Amendoa Doce

3 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream

1 cup mascarpone cheese (room temperature)

⅓ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 package Lady Fingers (Savoiardi)

Cocoa powder (for dusting)
